These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the facilities, programs, and services offered by Detroit Fight LLC, doing business as Detroit Fight Company (“DFC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including at our location at 1425 Tuskawilla Rd #209, Winter Springs, FL 32708. By enrolling, purchasing a membership, or participating in training, you agree to these Terms.
Membership and billing
Memberships are billed on a recurring basis (typically monthly) according to the membership type you select and any written agreement or enrollment you complete. There is no long-term contract requirement beyond the billing cycle and notice provisions described below; however, you are responsible for all fees accrued through the effective cancellation date in accordance with these Terms.
Fees, payment methods, and any promotional rates are subject to change upon reasonable notice as permitted by law and your enrollment agreement. Failed payments may result in suspension or termination of access until the account is brought current.
Cancellation
You may cancel your membership in accordance with our cancellation policy. To cancel, email sean@detroitfight.com at least 15 days before your next billing date. Cancellations are not effective until confirmed according to our internal processes and the timeline above. You remain responsible for charges that occur before cancellation takes effect.
Right of rescission
If applicable law provides a right to cancel certain transactions within a specified period (for example, a three (3) day right of rescission for certain membership sales as may be required in your jurisdiction), you may cancel within that period as described in any notice or agreement provided to you at enrollment. Assumption of risk and release of liability
Combat sports, martial arts, fitness activities, and use of our equipment and facilities involve inherent risks of injury, including serious injury or death. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with training, sparring, drilling, conditioning, and related activities. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Detroit Fight LLC (dba Detroit Fight Company), its owners, instructors, coaches, employees, contractors, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability for injuries or damages arising from participation, except where prohibited by law.
You represent that you are physically able to participate and will follow coach instructions and facility rules. If you have medical concerns, consult a physician before participating.
Code of conduct
All members and guests are expected to maintain a safe, respectful training environment. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: intentional harm to others outside of supervised training norms; harassment or discrimination; unsafe or reckless behavior; use of alcohol or illegal substances on premises; theft; or interference with others’ training. We may refuse service, revoke access, or terminate membership for violations of these expectations.
Minors
Where minors participate, a parent or legal guardian must complete required authorizations and assumes responsibility for the minor’s compliance with these Terms.
Intellectual property
DFC names, logos, and branding are protected. You may not use our marks without prior written permission except as reasonably incidental to social sharing of your experience.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where preempted by applicable federal law.
